Mr. Taub is a serial entrepreneur and investor in several pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He gained an MBA at INSEAD and held various general management and sales and marketing positions in his early career.

Mr. Taub later became an entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical and medical fields. He co-founded and co-managed Octapharma, a human plasma protein company for 12 years. He also founded and managed Omrix Biopharmaceuticals throughout a NASDAQ IPO followed by the acquisition by Johnson & Johnson. He was an early investor and chairman of Neuroderm, a Parkinson’s disease pharmaceutical company, throughout its IPO on NASDAQ and later sale to Mitsubishi-Tanabe. Alongside Nyxoah which he founded and of which he is the executive chairman, Mr. Taub founded Man & Science.  

Christelle joined the company in 2019 as Project Manager and Clinical Research Coordinator. She has over 15 years of experience in the nursing field. Prior to Man & Science she worked as Clinical Study Coordinator and Study Nurse at UHC Saint-Pierre Brussels covering multiple Phase II- IV trials. She has wide experience in the management of clinical trial projects from initiation to close out as well as working with site investigators to improve patient recruitment and patient retention. She believes developing a strategy that places the patient in the center of a trial is vital for a successful project. In addition to her nursing degrees, Christelle holds a master’s in science of Public Health from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

• David has a bachelor’s degree in Medical Science from University of Birmingham, UK and post-grad qualifications in Marketing from the Charted Institute of Marketing, UK
• Mr. Barnes served as CEO of Palion Medical until its acquisition by Man & Science in 2022.
• Prior to 2018 Mr. Barnes spent more than 20 years working with start-up & blue-chip organisations in the field of Neuromodulation & Headache including Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, Boston Scientific & Autonomic Technologies Inc.

• Highly accomplished, results oriented medical technology executive with 30 years of experience in Research and Development, of which 13 years in (active implantable) medical devices design and development.
• Proven technical leadership skills and vision to guide cross-functional project teams; implementing and utilizing technologies and methodologies supporting robust product development.
• Extensive knowledge of, and experience in system design and architecture, and capable of translating requirements into sub-system and system interface specifications that efficiently drive internal and external partners.
• Good negotiator and supervisor of external co-developers and suppliers, with a keen eye on maintaining productive relationships; not hesitating to act when issues arise. Empathic people manager and result driven team player with good stakeholder management, communication, coaching and teaching skills.

A Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology, Caroline brings the Management Team more than 10 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, testing and Regulatory Affairs expertise built in pharmaceuticals and medical devices. She joined Man & Science in 2023 as Director QA & Regulatory Compliance/PRRC. Started in pharmaceuticals (UCB Pharma, Braine-L’Alleud), Caroline also gained experience with medical devices in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases (Cardiatis & Intressa Vascular, Isnes) as Quality Director and PRRC. She also conducted fundamental research for 12 years at UCLouvain (Brussels) where she worked on optimizing the treatment of patients with leukemia.

Fausto joined Man&Science in 2022 as Finance & Administration Manager.

Prior to Man&Science, he spent 11 years as Financial Controller at Nyxoah, a neurostimulation medtech company listed on the Nasdaq & Euronext stock exchange, focused on the development and commercialization of innovative solutions to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Prior to this position, he was Financial Controller at Omrix Biopharmaceuticals, a company specializing in the development and the manufacture of life-saving products derived from human plasma, which was acquired by Johnson&Johnson in 2008.

Fausto holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Mons, a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Louvain and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Albert Jacquard High School in Namur.

Director R&D with education in mechanical engineering and over 18 years professional experience in the medical device industry. With can-do focus and hands-on mentality, challenging the status quo to continuously improve the organization, its processes and products for a perfect customer experience. Having an eye for the detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. Understanding the differences in people and trying to make best use of their talents for the company's success and to let them grow and shine whilst understanding the need for failing to learn personally and professionally.
